First impression

The Razer Book 13, available in Quartz Pink, is a lovely laptop by any standard. Razer is famous for its advanced gaming products, but their ingenuity and dedication to quality are evident even when they do something indirectly playful. They have been making great strides in laptops, with the latest model being the best in recent years.

The first thing you will notice is how well Book 13 is structured. It uses aluminum construction and feels solid and premium in your hands. In addition, it is a straightforward and compact portable computer, measuring 0.6 inches (15.24 mm) thick and weighing more than three pounds (3.09 lbs or 1.4 kg).

That makes it much heavier than the LG Gram (one of the best laptops this year, not appearing on this list due to the lack of pink options) but still very compact and portable.

CPU & Display

Furthermore, the Book 13 is the only Razer laptop without a dedicated GPU; instead, it uses the Intel Iris Xe, an integrated graphics processing functionality provided by the i7 processor. The quad-core i7 processor is much more potent than you usually find in small, portable laptops, making this the most efficient Ultrabook.

The 11th generation i7 works very well, and Razer’s built-in cooling capabilities allow you to get the best framerate of games that you expect from anything other than a dedicated GPU. It still has a small amount of complex gameplay, streaming, or video editing. However, it offers a lot of performance for everyday tasks as well as doing a lot of serious work.

The display is not only good now but is a significant improvement over last year’s model. It is 1920×1200 to display the touch screen, which is sharp and gives you more space and flexibility to work with. In addition, it has 100% full SRGB input and receives up to 500 lumens, making it one of the few laptops you can use outside.

Others

The webcam (1MP/720P) is not exceptional but will do for a good enough video meeting. The sound is a small mixed bag here. The microphone range has four mics. Compared to one or two, you usually get to record very well, but the output is somewhat disappointing.

The Razer Book 13 has carefully designed speakers, which is usually a good sign. Still, it has water bass and tinny treble, and it doesn’t sound good enough to justify further engineering into noise. It will not be a big deal if you religiously use headphones or headsets, but it isn’t enjoyable for a laptop like this.

Lastly, this portable computer has some of the decent battery life you can find on a portable computer. If you are not connected, you can still do very well on most benchmarks, but as you might expect, that will reduce the battery life to less than advertised.

Even a simple job in battery-saving mode only gives 7-8 hours, so a little extra time for a full working day. Not suitable for a professional on the go.

All in all, the Razer Book 13 Quartz Pink was probably the best pink laptop available in 2022. It offers excellent performance, display, design quality, and a great appearance. If you are looking for a high-quality laptop you can take everywhere, look no further than the Razer Book 13.

First impression

The MSI brand is known for making great but not-so-light gaming laptops. Lately, MSI has been trying to break into the market of powerful ultrabooks where there is already intense competition.
The Prestige series comes in 14 and 15 inches and, according to the specification, is intended for gamers and more demanding users who want a relatively robust and light laptop. Such a laptop comes with discrete graphics and a powerful processor.

So, this laptop will immediately catch your eye if you like bright pink. MSI has paid much attention to detail in making this sophisticated laptop so that even the screws are pink. Prestige 14 is a product that no one will remain indifferent to without comment.

In a retail package with MSI Prestige 14, you will get a case, a wireless mouse (not for serious gaming), and an MSI Dragon pendant, all in pink.

So if you’re a fan of pink, this is a laptop you shouldn’t miss. Not only because of the color but also the great design and weight of only 1.27 kg. Pretty solid construction, but also excellent how much power is put into this little laptop.

CPU & Display

This pink laptop comes with various Intel processors, but the one we currently find in stock comes with the excellent Core i7-10710U, which you can also find in the Dell XPS 13 model. Similarly, there are options for the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 series of GPUs on GPUs.

So, the specific model MSI Prestige 14 comes with Core i7-10710U and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 GPU with a Max-Q design, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, and an IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. MSI also has a pink model with a 4K screen, but you may have performance issues with this screen size.

Unfortunately, the display is limited to a refresh rate of 60Hz, which means that the maximum FPS will be 60. In terms of color, the display is excellent, with a gamut of almost 100% sRGB and about 75% of Adobe RGB, suitable for accurate color work in the sRGB space. However, 282 nits are disappointing in high light, and we would not recommend using this laptop outside or for image editing.

Others

Except for a good CPU and discrete GPU, the 16GB of RAM and 512MB NVMe SSD are both perfectly decent in terms of cost and what you can expect to see. Battery life is not the best, but it is also not bad. It lasts about 6 – 7 hours during everyday use (web browsing, YouTube, etc.) in partial energy-saving mode.

The membrane keyboard and touchpad are above the limit for this in price brackets – if they are touchable and responsive.

With a discrete graphics card, you’ll be limited to playing in lower graphics settings for each new, more demanding game. Yet, MSI Prestige 14 offers the best performance-to-price ratio compared to other laptops on this list. Eventually, you pay less for color.

If you find the MSI Prestige 14 due to high demand, in addition to your favorite color, you will get an excellent gaming performance.

First impression

You can choose the new Dell XPS 13 from three color variants. Since we are interested in pink here, the combination of arctic white in the interior and pink gold exterior looks highly modern and elegant.

The new version of Dell XPS 13 will be the closest rival to our top spot, but it simply loses Razer Book 13 in terms of green processing power and network of ports. However, it is cheaper and has better battery life, so that it may suit your needs better. Like the Razer Book 13, it has a recurring top-notch screen with excellent color, contrast, and brightness.

However, the only version of the Dell XPS 13 you can get is the old pink 7390, which we link here.

CPU & Display

XPS 13 7390 comes with an older Intel Core i7-10710U CPU, but it also has the advantage of an affordable 4K/UHD touchscreen. The colors, brightness, and light in this display are all excellent.

The Core i7-10710U is already an older but surprisingly powerful 6-core processor, which is also a tiny consumer with a TDP of only 15 W. The processor is, therefore, a good choice for ultrabooks such as this Dell of only 1.23 kg (2.7 lbs). The Core i7 in this laptop is powerful enough for everyday tasks, streaming, video editing, and occasional gaming.

The integrated graphics UHD 620 is not gaming-oriented, and you will not get a lot of FPS in games, especially not in 4K resolution. On the other hand, you have a great touchscreen with a resolution of 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) and a vivid color display with a 100% sRGB color gamut. The IPS screen has a good 178 ° wide-viewing angle, 400 nits, and 1500: 1 contrast.

Others

The keyboard, trackpad, and overall build quality of this model are still good, with a solid number of ports. Speakers are a bit over standard but similarly not as good as the latest Razer model.

The Dell XPS 13 battery life is relatively good compared to the competition, with up to 11 hours of everyday casual work (web browsing, YouTube, etc.), which is more than enough for an average user. And it is imposing when considering that it has a 4K screen.

The Dell XPS 13 is an excellent ultra-portable six-core Comet Lake laptop that will be more than good for any average but also the more advanced user. Although this “old” machine is not among the most powerful, it is still an excellent 13″ pink laptop.

First impression

The ASUS Vivobook S15 is one of the top-notch laptops or one that will be a little more friendly in your price range than the main wishlist.

This S15 mannequin comes with an ASUS metal finish called “Punk Pink.” The base is larger than polished gold, each of which is easy on the eyes and will do a direct job of concealing any flaws or minor damage, such as scratches. The lid is a warm metallic pink, which stands out among the various red laptops trying to create a soft “maybe red club in the right light” design type.

In addition, ASUS includes a unique touchpad, a combination of a trackpad and a touchscreen with a list of pre-loaded apps, such as a calculator, media controls, and toolbars. It’s an interesting concept, yet one that ASUS uses to make a significant impact on their Duo models.

Switching between the touch screen and trackpad mode unless you have an external mouse will cost much more time than saving it. With the control theme, the keyboard is not as solid or sensitive as it should be, so if your work or school day involves a lot of typing, you will no longer be able to find the correct sentence per minute typing speed.

CPU & Display

With intelligent, optimized performance, the VivoBook S15 is a solid deal. It saves money by reverting to the Core i5 10th generation but still performs admirably for most everyday and routine tasks. With a laptop in this price range, we would sincerely like to see a lot of RAM, and you can upgrade the 8 GB integrated to only 16 GB, limiting the maximum usage.

One thing that will make the VivoBook S15 more attractive to many customers is the large display. The 15.6-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) display will make the scale of most of your goals more natural, and you won’t have to struggle to find good details.

Now it’s not a bright show, about 250 nits. That is now no different from laptops in terms of scale, but it will make operating with precision more difficult. sRGB insurance only covers about 60% of the cost, so if you are looking for something to do for design work, this will not be as strong as Razers or MSI Prestige later in this list.

Others

Even with a larger screen, the S15 survives more than expected. At 3.97 lbs (1.8kg), it is a bit heavier than a standard portable computer. The width, 0.73 inches (18.5mm), is almost the same, but it really this from the “most portable” space.

The only place ASUS drops the ball is with battery life. Many VivoBook fashions become larger than a full day of work, some even reaching 12-14 hours. The S15 lasts only about 5 hours, which is a touchpad that drains the battery.

The ASUS VivoBook S15 S532 is a portable red-light computer that can be yours for a realistic price. The laptop has no significant drawbacks other than battery life, which can be a problem if you are more on the go. However, the design, quality, and performance combination make this a desirable option.

First impression

Setting appropriate expectations is the key to dissatisfaction in the form of laptops. Now it can be challenging not to see the details of $ 300 laptops as embarrassing when they’re on the list after a good over $ 1000 laptops for gaming or video editing.

What you expect minimally from a laptop is that it will do simple production tasks (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.), and you may have to manage to do a lot of soft work. Some portable computers will gradually slow down if you have a text processor and your internet browser open simultaneously.

CPU & Display

So how does a cheap ASUS E410 pink laptop cope with everyday tasks?

The Intel Celeron N4020 2-core processor is capable of quick startup and is powerful enough to handle all your major production tasks. Slightly soft memory, only 4GB of RAM, and a 128GB SSD, but that doesn’t happen with the worst load capacity you can get in this cash bracket.

You certainly will not be able to do much in the way of games, except soft video games like FTL or Minecraft, and any new functions without any doubt that the basic touch of the image will no longer be as good.

Apart from that, ASUS ultimately reduces the return on screen. It is one of the laptops you can get in 2022 with a 1366×768 display. It doesn’t look bad on the 14-inch screen, but if you’re used to the fact that most of the details appear to be FHD or UHD screens, it will be a step backward.

In addition, it is not very bright, reaching 200 nits, less than average even at this charging range. On a related note, the webcam is almost worse. It has an ancient resolution of 640×480 and is suitable to use only in bright light, making it unsuitable for anything other than simply checking out zoos.

Others

You don’t need too many expectations from a budget laptop like this pink Asus E410. If you’re only going to use it in cases like word processing and the internet, you don’t need anything stronger.

The keyboard and trackpad layout is beautiful, each responsive, and offers a first-rate response rate. The keyboard’s design is questionable in some areas, especially the arrow keys. The good thing about the trackpad is that you can switch it to Numpad, which works as mentioned but may not be the main cost added to everyone.

When talking about wonders, ASUS E410 is surprising in battery life. Most laptops do not invest in battery life, but this model will last 10–12 hours. Moreover, it is more closely related than expected, even considering the soft interior specs. It weighs only 2.87 pounds (1.3 kg) and is only 0.7 inches (18mm) in diameter. That is higher than usual and is remarkable for laptops, which often have fewer corners in the construction.

Overall, the ASUS E410 is a rare budget pink computer that has not bad at all. The webcam and display are powerless, but if you do not want too much of both, the durability and responsiveness of the keyboard will be incredibly beneficial over time.

Design, build quality, and adorable pink are over the laptop’s performance.

First impression

The HP Pavilion 17 HD+  comes with a fetching metal rose gold coloration on its outer shell with a silver interior. It differs from the smaller Pavilion model in a larger chassis but retains the same rose gold aesthetic. It has a minimalist rose gold case and a lid that opens easily and is very similar to the HP Envy 17 model from the same house, but the stylized Chrome HP logo on the cover makes it clear what it is all about.

The new HP 17 notebook looks elegant and sophisticated. We could say that it is suitable for everyday work with occasional undemanding games. Unlike the remaining pink laptops on this list, the HP 17 is not the most portable with its 5.31 lbs (2.4 kg), but it does not benefit from a modest choice and several ports. So on the left is one USB Type-A, HDMI 1.4b, USB Type-C port, and combo audio jack. There is only one USB Type-A port on the right.

CPU & Display

The AMD Athlon Silver 3050U is a good-budget CPU from the red team, which comes with built-in entry-level Vega graphics (Vega 2). It’s a decent CPU, unlike Intel’s choices in the form of some Celeron, but it would undoubtedly be better to see a Ryzen 3 5300U here, for example. After all, HP Pavilion 17 HD+ is not for something that requires a lot of power to work and is a more acceptable solution for use in the office or for a student than playing games.

The 17-inch screen is good if you want a larger surface area for your favorite applications that won’t involve precise photo work. The resolution of 1600 x 900 should be higher – we would have preferred to see 1920 x 1080.

The range of emission shades is below 100% sRGB, so we would not suggest this laptop evaluate the shades or the correct operation of different colors. With an upper brightness of just 250 nits, the screen is dimmed and consequently unsuitable for outdoor work.

Others

Pleasantly surprising that the keyboard is quite comfortable to use. The keys have a great response and work better than most notebooks in this price range. Also, the backlight of the keys will allow you to work more productively in darkened rooms without feeling strained.

Interestingly, the power switch is located in the upper right corner of the keyboard instead of on the case. The touchpad is pretty comfortable, and there are no objections to it. However, for more comfortable use, we recommend using a mouse.

Due to the screen size, the HP Pavilion 17 has a good battery life – about 7 hours and 30 minutes, with maximum screen brightness.

Lastly, the HP 17 is quite a decent laptop for discerning users who want a replacement for a desktop computer. The only problem is the not-so-bright screen. The good side is that it offers a pleasant typing experience, has a reasonable price, has a large screen, and lovely pink-gold color.
