Creative Assembly has scheduled a new chapter of the strategy game Total War Warhammer 3 (III) for February 17 this year. Accordingly, they estimated that now is the ideal time to publish the new game’s hardware requirements and check if it’s time to upgrade your computer.
Compared to the second sequel, this release requires that you have 120GB of free storage space. System requirements aren’t terrible, so you will enjoy it equally well with slightly older hardware. It’s even possible to stay on the good old Windows 7.
As for the novelties in the third chapter, one new race has been added, so now you have eight. The four sides of Chaos seem not enough, so the authors of the game added another one (Demons of Chaos), which will combine the forces of the others. So, five factions are dedicated to the Gods of Chaos, two represent the defenders of the mortal empires, and the last is a bunch of massive and hungry ogres.
You will be able to assign the conquered territories to one of the demonic deities (Khorne, Nurgle, Slannesh, or Tzeentch).
Gods of Chaos
- Khornes are the simplest Gods of Chaos associated with war, bloodshed, and brutality.
- Nurgles deal with the spread of disease and decay.
- Slaanesh are the gods of obsession, excess, and bloodshed.
- Tzeentch deals with fraud and lies.
- The new Chaos Demons faction is fighting under the Chaos Undivided flag and is led by the adaptable Demon Prince and can recruit units from the lists of all four Chaos Gods, allowing for some exciting combinations.
Defenders of the mortal empires
- Kislev acts as a bulwark against Chaos. In Warhammer 3, Kislev receives a whole treatment faction led by Tzarina Katarin Bokha.
- Grand Cathay is the largest human empire in the world of Warhammer, designed by the Creative Assembly in collaboration with the Games Workshop for Total War: Warhammer 3.
Ogres
- The Ogre Kingdoms are a race that relies on monstrous units and easier access to battles. They are constantly looking for mercenary contracts to ensure their stomachs stay full.
Depending on which deity you choose, you get the opportunity to create unique units and buildings. There are plenty of possibilities and combinations, so it remains to see that in the final edition of the game.
